At the age of 35, many boxing fans are speculating that Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is already close to retirement. In fact, even his trainer Freddie Roach is aware of the fact that Manny is nearing the end of his professional boxing career, according to the Press Telegram.

Roach said, "We decided no matter how many fights we have remaining, we are determined to run the table and win every one. And when it is over, it is going to be as world champion. And that can only happen with a total and absolute victory over Bradley."

But according to an interview with World Boxing News, Pacquiao revealed that he may not be on the same page as his coach regarding his retirement.

When asked about his motivation to fight despite his age, he answered, "My motivation is the same now as it was when I started my boxing career. I love the competition and I love to win. When that stops, so does my professional boxing career. But I don't see that happening for a long time."

He then added that his loss from his first fight against Timothy Bradley is also what motivates him fight for the championship belt.

He said, "Because I am facing Tim Bradley again I am extra motivated for this fight. I may not have won the decision the first time we fought but I know I did not lose that fight. I want the world title he won from me back around my waist. I want to prove I am the better fighter."

Bradley's professional fight record is currently at 31-0, but the Manny is gunning to become the first fighter to hand the American boxer his first loss. He commented, "No one has ever defeated Tim Bradley during his professional career. I want to be the first name in his loss column. It will not be easy. Nothing at the world championship level is easy."

"I still have the hunger and the desire to win and I appreciate Tim Bradley giving me this rematch to prove it," Pacquiao continued. "Unfortunately for him, on April 12, I will not be able to repay him that favor with kindness."
