After weeks of being silent or avoiding rumors regarding a tour, Adele finally broke her silence and confirmed that she will have a 2016 European tour. The British songstress announced the news on Facebook, however, U.S. fans seemed to have been disappointed.

Adele's European fans must be rejoicing upon watching the singer's announcement video on her official Facebook page. The 27-year-old "Hello" and "When We Were Young" singer posted a funny video of her committing mistakes throughout the shoot to announce where she will be performing all over Europe.

And when she finally got the hang of it, Adele spilled the most awaited announcement that her fans have been wanting to hear. "Hello, it's me," Adele said as quoted by E! News. "I have been bluffing this whole time and I'm so relieved to finally tell you that I am, of course, coming on tour and I can't wait to see all of you there, so see you all very, very soon!"

Pointing a wand similar to Harry Potter, Adele showed some of the places where she will be performing beginning next year. Among the cities included are Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Herning, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Zurich, Lisbon, Barcelona, Verona, Amsterdam, Paris and Antwerp, The Guardian reports.

Adele also made up a list of her official tour dates in Europe posted on her official website. However, U.S. fans seemed to be devastated that the singer will only be touring in Europe despite her new album's record-breaking sales in the U.S.

Twitter users posted numerous messages for Adele asking why the British songstress wouldn't go on tour in America. "@Adele what about a U.S. Tour???? No dates yet?" one user wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Adele's album reportedly sold three million copies according to U.S. charts compiler Nielsen Music, reported by The Guardian. Furthermore, Nielsen Music announced that Adele already passed NSYNC's previous record of 2.42 million in one week of sales.

In addition to that, Adele's U.K. sales reached 737,000 as of Thursday morning, according to Official Charts. Adele has apparently sold more units than her British counterpart Oasis and their album "Be Here Now" in 1997, which sold 696,000.

As of the moment, Adele's response on the circulating clamor for her to do a U.S. tour has yet to be released.
