Michael Giacchino is returning to score or do the accompanying music for "The Incredibles 2."

The film director Brad Bird excitedly announced Giacchino's involvement in the sequel of "The Incredibles" via Twitter.

Giacchino readily confirmed this by replying to Bird's tweet.

Having Giacchino a part of the family that created the movie shown 11 years ago will essentially let the loyal fans or viewers, who appreciated the 2004 film, be more nostalgic about it. Aside from that, the sequel's score is surely in good hands as Giacchino is already a veteran film scorer.

He had several experiences creating scores for popular animated film like "Cars 2," "Ratatouille" and "Inside Out," informed Screen Rant. He also performed the score in other projects like "Tomorrowland," "Jurassic World" and "Jupiter Ascending." He will also share his genius in upcoming movies like "Cars 3," "Planet of the Apes 3" and the "Jumanji" remake.

Frozone could be back

Aside from Giacchino, there's a high chance that viewers will see Frozone again. Samuel L. Jackson suggested that his character, Frozone, who has the ability to freeze water and water vapors will be present in "Incredibles 2."

Jackson commented on this via Digital Spy, sharing that Bird himself stated that Frozone is vital in the next movie.

"Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on [in the sequel], so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what'€™s already there," Jackson told reporters while at a promotional tour for "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

Jackson seemed excited of this possibility because he is also intrigued about the development in another character, Jack-Jack, the son of Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Elastigirl (Holly Hunter.)

"I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into," the "Pulp Fiction" actor added.

In March 2014, Variety informed that Walt Disney Company chief Bob Iger announced their plan to make "Incredibles 2" and "Cars 3" during the company's meeting in Portland, Oregon that month.
