The New England Patriots face the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football, but a few key players will not be on the field.

Danny Amendola will not be playing because of a knee injury he suffered last week against the Buffalo Bills. Amendola is third on the team in receiving yards and touchdown catches on the team, and he is now the No. 1 slot receiver considering Julian Edelman is out for the season. With Edelman and Amendola out, Robert Gronkowski will Tom Brady's go-to guy.

Running back Dion Lewis was recently placed on injured reserve because of a torn ACL injury. Aaron Dobson is also out for the year.

Star linebacker Jamie Collins will also be out against the Broncos on Sunday night. Collins is having a phenomenal year, but he is dealing with an illness. Fortunately for Patriots fans, sack master Chandler Jones is expected to play despite an abdominal injury.
