LG is on the road to appease disappointed Google Nexus 5X users following reports of hardware-related issues that first appeared in September. The tech giant is reportedly offering full refunds for users experiencing reboot loops with their devices.

The refund policy report first came out from a Reddit and several users have also testified of receiving emails from LG regarding unresolved part repairs of the Nexus 5X, thus, offering full refunds.

"We're sorry to hear that you've experienced a problem with your LGH790 and appreciate you giving us the opportunity to provide a warranty repair," began the email from LG, further admitting that the tech company cannot resolve the issue. "We have received your device at our repair facility but currently, a part to complete the repair is out of stock and is no longer available."

To compensate for this matter, LG continued, "We would like to offer you a refund for the full amount of your device. That amount will be determined by your sales receipt. Your refund can take approximately 4 weeks to receive due to the holiday." Likewise, for any further inquiries on the refund process, affected users of Nexus 5X devices are recommended to contact the company. The refund is also expected to reach not just the users from the US but also globally.

Although Nexus 5X has been in the tech market for only a year, Google opted to discontinue selling the smartphone following the release of its new flagship phone which is the Pixel. Apparently, the device is not meant for the long run and hardware issues came out after the Android 7.0 Nougat update. As per NDTV, this caused an issue that cannot be fixed via an over-the-update and should be taken to LG centers for repairs. As recent events turned out,however, LG centers cannot solve the matter, thus, sorry for Nexus 5X users.

To avoid warranty issues in the future, however, all users of Nexus 5X are advised to contact LG sooner rather than later. Stay tuned for more updates!
