On Tuesday, Tony Romo officially quit his career and have chosen retirement. In spite of his interest to play one more playoff, Dallas Cowboy's four-time Pro Bowler and the legend was officially released by his team. Romo will be onto his another career that never falls far from the tree, being CBS' top NFL analyst, heading into the broadcasting booth.

The 37-year-old Pro Bowler has spent 14 years as a quarter back plater in Dallas Cowboys and it is already an excellent experience to pursue broadcasting and being an NFL analyst. Tony Romo will be heading into CBS broadcasting booth alongside with Jim Nantz this season as he replaces Phil Simms being the lead game broadcast analyst in the network, Sports Day has reported.

According to Jerry Jones, Cowboys owner stated in a press release that they wished Tony and his entire family nothing but the best. Also, Romo said in a Conference call that he is really excited about the challenge of what is ahead "I'm excited and it is going to be a great challenge for me. I hope I am able to make my CBS family proud with their decision."

Tony Romo then uploaded a photo of him wearing a jacket with a CBS logo in his official twitter account. Fox also expressed their interest in the four-time Pro Bowler as a possible replacement also for John Lynch, who left the broadcast booth in January just to become the San Francisco 49er's general manager, NFL has reported.

Jason Garrett, Cowboy's coach also sent his sentiments and message to Tony, complementing his work for competing to the end of everything that he can. Garrett also claimed that Tony's spirit is contagious, making his team better. Sean McManus, CBS sports chairman stated that Tony has been one of the NFL's brightest stars in the past decade and they are thrilled to welcome him to CBS Sports.

Also, on Sundays and Thursdays, McManus said that Tony Romo would call games. There are still three seasons left in the contract of Romo but due to his back injury, he chose to retire. He has made more than $127 million over his career and has played one series after his returned from injury in November.
