Lebron James and the entire team of Los Angeles Lakers are on the quest to fulfilling their promise to the NBA Legend and former LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant, to get the championship ring this season. Their first step is getting into the Western Conference Finals.

The Los Angeles Lakers finally ended their playoff game against Houston Rockets in a best-of-seven series. The Houston Rockets got the first game during their Game 1 but Los Angeles Lakers made sure to get the next four games to advance in the Western Conference Finals.

As expected, Lebron James lead the game scored 29 points. and 11 rebounds. Meanwhile, Kyle Kuzma was the second-leading scorer who made 17 points. and recorded five out of his nine three-pointers off the bench. Additionally, the first five players who started to play has recorded double digits as well.

On the other hand, the Houston Rockets star player also did his best but fall short in the fourth quarter He scored 30 points which is far beyond his only two shots in Game 4. He was the only player in Houston Rockets during Game 5 who scored more than 13 points

The Houston Rockets has only made 37.5 percent of their shots and 27 percent of their three points attempt. A very low percentage which is not expected for a team like the Rockets. If the Rockets won during Game 5, there would be a chance that they could play against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 6 or even in Game 7.

Houston Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni thought that his team lacked the spirit necessary during Game 4. However, the Los Angeles Lakers made sure that Houston Rockets will not get Game 5. Lebron James along with his team made an end to their playoff games.

During the first few minutes of their game, Los Angeles Lakers made sure to lead the 11 points. Los Angeles Lakers scored 10 unanswered points while the Houston Rockets missed multiple shots. The lead grew to 22 points before they started to cut the deficit.

Los Angeles Lakers continue to lead the game during the second quarter and made a 17-2 run. The Rockets almost get within Lakers by seven but still fell short due to multiple missed shots, low three points percentage, and low score points from the bench.

Meanwhile, the first five players of Los Angeles Lakers played well and has recorded double-digits The bench players also did their best and showed their enthusiasm in the game. After halftime, it already became clear that Houston was outmatched.

This is the first time that the Lakers made it in the Finals after 10 years. If Los Angeles Lakers would get the championship ring, Lebron James will make another history if he becomes MVP. He will be joining other players who played in three different franchises and became MVP as well.

Moreover, the Los Angeles Lakers is now waiting for their rival team in the Western Conference. It could be either Miami Heat or Boston Celtics which will still have their Game 7 final game.
