Nicki Minaj Boyfriend and Relationship News: 'Anaconda' Rapper Smashes Car During Feud With Ex-Boyfriend Safaree Samuels
It appears that Nicki Minaj and Safaree Samuels are officially no longer dating. The latest reports from TMZ claim that the female rapper not only broke it off with Samuels last month, but now allegedly smashed a Mercedes-Benz with a baseball bat during an argument.
According to the article, Minaj and Samuels began fighting over the summer. One such spat turned violent when Minaj allegedly chased her man out of her home while carrying a baseball bat. The website then said the "Anaconda" rapper used the bat to destroy the luxury car, which was hers but apparently had been loaned to Samuels with her permission.
Minaj then stormed back inside and threw many of Samuels clothes into the trash.
Police were reportedly called to the 31-year-old singer's residence, but no arrests were made. Apparently, this was due to the fact that the only damage done was to Minaj's car by her own hand.
It is unclear when exactly the dispute occurred or what the couple was arguing about. However, this incident was reportedly what led to the couple's break-up.
Minaj and Samuels had been a couple for 14 years according to the Daily Mail, but were last pictured together in September. Last month, Samuels shared pictures online of new tattoos that covered old ink on his chest that celebrated the star.
On Instagram on Monday, Minaj posted a somewhat cryptic quote that read: "Those who know me never doubt me & those who doubt me never knew me."
Despite her now allegedly being back on the market, she is busy traveling and promoting her latest music.
Minaj will be traveling to Glasgow, Scotland, for Nov. 9's MTV Europe Music Awards, which she will host and perform. She is also nominated for awards in the Best Female, Biggest Fans, Best Hip Hop and Best Look categories at the event.
She is currently promoting her latest single "Only," which features label-mates Drake and Lil Wayne as well as Chris Brown. "Only" is a track off her upcoming third studio album, "The Pinkprint."
