Fans can now expect Lil Wayne's second project of this year, "Free Weezy Album," next month, following January's "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape.

The New Orleans emcee first announced the highly anticipated record in February. Ever since then, he has been promoting it on his social media accounts with the #FWA hashtag.

While headlining an all-day pool party for Red Bull at South Beach's Sagamore, The Art Hotel on Saturday, he was joined by former Cash Money brethren Mannie Fresh, The Roots' drummer Questlove and Kanye West producer Hudson Mohawke. Wayne made an important announcement during the event.

After performing his hits, including "I'm Going In," "Ms. Officer," "We Be Steady Mobbin" and "No Worries," as well as his verse from Nicki Minaj's "Only," the Young Money artist confirmed that his album – not "Tha Carter V" – but "Free Weezy Album" will be dropped soon in April.

The "Believe Me" rapper also handed out brand new merch, designed by Trukfit, in support of the upcoming LP. The black T-shirts feature the letters "FWA" on the front and the name of his record label "Young Money" on the back.
