As the countdown till Easter (Sunday, April 5) continues, celebrities have already started participating in Easter egg hunts and other festive activities in honor of the holiday, Us Weekly reports.

On Sunday, March 29, Kim Kardashian posted several photos to her Instagram of her daughter North West on an Easter egg hunt.

At the end of her egg hunting journey, Kardashian posted a photo of North West looking happily at her basket filled with colorful eggs.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian's sister, Kourtney posted an Instagram photo of an Easter centerpiece she created out of what appears to be chocolate pretzels to represent a birds nest and a faux yellow bird placed on the side of the nest.

A few days earlier, Kourtney also shared a photo of arts and crafts eggs she presumably made with her children.

Meanwhile, Neil Patrick Harris shared photos of his children wearing bright colored raincoats on Good Friday. Harris and his children are spending the holiday weekend in New York where it is raining so the children got dressed for the weather, Woman's Day reports.

Katherine Heigl opted to stay indoors for her Easter celebration. On Saturday, April 5, Heigl posted a photo of herself, her friend, and her daughter all painting eggs for Easter.

Three days earlier, Heigl posted another photo of her shopping basket that contained a receipt from Michaels where she purchased all of her Easter arts supplies.
