J Balvin is bringing his music to the United States when he goes on tour this fall with Becky G. The upcoming performances will be Balvin's first headlining tour, UT-San Diego reports.

Balvin previously toured as an opening act for Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias, but now his popularity is allowing him to headline. Billboard Magazine has called Balvin "the biggest breakout act Latin music has seen in many years." Balvin is also popular on social media with more than 3 million Instagram followers and his videos on YouTube have been watched more than 1 billion times.

Balvin's album, "La Familiam" resulted in the back-to-back singles "6 AM" and "Ay Vamos." The video for "Ay Vamos" has been watched 350 million times on Vevo, according to Pollstar.

Balvin has found success with his collaborations with established artists. The Colombian singer has performed Spanish remixes with Ariana Grande, Pharrell, French Montana and other artists.

Joining Balvin for the upcoming tour is 18-year-old Becky G. She recently won multiple Disney Music Awards, including best new artist. Becky G's hit single "Shower" has been viewed over 105 million times on YouTube. People Magazine called the song one of the "Top 10 Songs of the Summer" in 2014.
