Dwyane Wade will reportedly consider leaving the Miami Heat as multiple reports revealed the superstar guard and his team are far from reaching a new deal.

Wade, who has spent his entire career with the Heat after he was drafted fifth overall in the 2003 NBA Draft, signed a two-year deal worth $33 million in the offseason to give the Heat some flexibility in the hope of rebuilding the squad following the departure of LeBron James.

The 33-year-old guard also took pay cut in the past to give his team more cap room to improve their roster, but ESPN reported that the situation is different this year. Wade is now reportedly ready to take a raise and reports revealed he might opt out of the second year of his deal to become a free agent in the offseason.

Wade, who averaged 21.5 points to go along with 4.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game last season, will earn $16 million next season, but sources indicated that he wants a long-term deal.

However, the Heat appear not ready to commit to a long-term deal to Wade, especially if the All-Star guard will demand a salary more than what he is scheduled to earn next season.

Despite having a productive season this year, ESPN pointed out that it will be hard for Wade to get more than $16 million from another team because he has been plagued by numerous injuries over the past several seasons.

Henry Thomas, Wade's agent, told the Miami Herald that they will continue to talk to the Heat, but he declined to reveal the details about the murky initial talks for a new deal.

"With the amount of time he has spent with the organization, every effort will be made to try to work something out," Thomas said. "The five times he played for a championship, resulting in three championships, is a significant accomplishment for any professional. We are continuing to talk about a resolution that would be satisfactory to both sides."

Kevin Durant To Washington Wizards Rumors Surface Again

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant is being linked to the Washington Wizards again. The former Most Valuable Player will become a free agent in the summer of 2016, and a fellow player told Basketball Insiders he thinks Durant will head to the Eastern Conference by signing with his hometown team.

"It wouldn't be a bad idea," the player said of Durant joining an Eastern Conference team. "I'm pretty sure Kevin Durant is going to start it off and go home to D.C."

Durant averaged 25.4 points to go along with 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, but the 26-year-old played in just 27 games due to a recurring foot injury.
