The Backstreet Boys pleased many fans at its concert in Mexico when the group performed several of its most popular hits in Spanish for the audience on Thursday.

The boy band, famous for some of the biggest pop hits from the early 2000s, is currently on its "A World Like This" tour and performed at the National Auditorium in Mexico City for four nights. The group took fans by surprise by performing several songs in the country's native language of Spanish, Variety Latino reported. 

Two of the songs that the group performed were originally recorded in 1995. "Nunca Te Haré Llorar" and "Donde Quieras Yo Iré" are the Spanish versions of hits "I'll Never Break Your Heart" and "Anywhere For You."

Several fans shared clips of members Nick Carter, A.J. McClean, Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson and Howie Dorough performing the songs on their social media accounts, particularly on Instagram.

The group is set to continue to perform for their Mexican fans when it heads to Guadalajara next and eventually finish in Monterrey on June 28.

According to reports, the group is set to work on its upcoming album and will be touring for the next three years. The group stated that it will be doing a total of 150 shows between now and 2017. The tour is part of a deal the group signed with Live Nation.

"Our music is always evolving," announced the group. "We're getting ready to go back into the studio later this year."

The band has been enjoying success since reuniting in 2012. The Backstreet Boys released an album, "In A World Like This," in 2013. And in 2015, the band made a documentary, "Backstreet Boys: Show Them What You're Made Of."

If things go according to plan, the group is expected to release another album in 2016.
