Dismiss it as she might, some friends of "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel seem convinced she and "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet might well be an item before all is said and done.

When word broke last week that the Skinnygirl mogul and the portly Stonestreet "where hanging out" and might soon be an official couple, Frankel immediately took to Twitter, simply posting in a tweet to Stonestreet, "Wow, #somanyboyfriendssolittletime"

"Millionaire Matchmaker" Patti Stanger likes to think she knows a thing or two about connections and what makes for a solid relationship and she seems convinced the two, though opposites on the surface, could have a real chance to make a go of it.

"They're both strong, powerful, and both make money," she told People magazine. "It's an unusual pairing, but Eric is hysterical ... and funny [guys] can get the hot girls."

Frankel, 44, is rumored to "like the company" and, given all the open bitterness she's recently gone through with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, any change of pace could be perceived as good.

Not only have the two feuded about a child custody arrangement for their young daughter, but Frankel is also seeking to have a New York judge's ruling allowing Hoppy to remain living in the Tribeca apartment they once shared overturned.

In a Bravo blog post this week, Frankel described herself as "a complicated cookie." As she often does, throughout the post, Frankel chastised her "Real Housewives" cast mates for everything from trying to hog the spotlight to not being able to keep things in proper perspective.

Still, in the end, Frankel described the show as "an incredible tool for me to reflect and look at myself. Like therapy, when used constructively, it can be a gift."
