All PS4 users will have access to the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn beta, says the PlayStation blog. The first phase of beta for the game runs from February 22 to March 3 while  Phase 2 of the Final Fantasy 14 beta will be on April 4 to April 7.

PlayStation's blog post notes that Japanese Standard Time will be assumed for the said dates and that all PS4 users can download the beta from the PlayStation Store.

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn beta phase 1 characters will be wiped out after the first phase run-time but characters created during beta phase 2 shall be carried over to the title's retail version.

PlayStation also announced that gamers who are playing the PS3 version of Final Fantasy 14 can upgrade to the PS4 version by April 11 without incurring costs. However, the PS4-maker warns that gamers who upgrade to the PS4 version will no longer be able to play the PS3 version of the title.

The retail version for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn launches April 14 but is now available for pre-order. Gamers who pre-order the title are entitled to pre-order bonuses consisting of early access which allows users to start playing the game April 11 to 13, before the official release date as well as a Cait Sith Doll Minion and a Moogle Cap as bonus in-game items.

The title's PS4 version is priced at $39.99 for the Standard Edition for both Package and Digital Download. The Collector's Edition Package of Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn PS4 is priced at $79.99 while the Digital Download costs $59.99.

The Collector's Edition of the title offers 7 bonuses: the title's Collector's Edition exclusive box containing illustrations by Yoshitaka Amano; The Art of Eorzea: A Realm Reimagined art book by Akihiko Yoshida; the Seventh Umbral Era Special Movie Content Disc; mounts, minions and the Helm of Light as in-game items; the title's special soundtrack; an art card set; and a themed security token.
