Matt Murdock and Karen Page will be dating in "Daredevil" season 2?

The possibility that the two, Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Page (Deborah Ann Woll), will be an item was hinted by a leaked photo of the two stars filming in Brooklyn. A fan tweeted an image of the two celebrities walking side by side.

Yet, what's more interesting is that the pair are photographed holding hands, as seen clearly on a high-resolution copy of the same image here. In the first season's finale, the blind lawyer extended his hand saying that they should "move forward, together" and Page held Murdock's hand, in return. This scene could be the one bridging the romance between the two next season. What about Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) who seemed to have feelings for Page as seen in the earlier episodes? Well, he probably also would start over with his college flame and lawyer Marci Stahl (Amy Rutberg), who also managed to help Murdock and Nelson in their quest against villain Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).

Two love interests for Murdock?

Yet, the official Twitter account for the Netflix series already teased that Elektra is coming to Murdock's neighborhood, Hell's Kitchen.

Elektra (Elodie Yung) is said to be the daughter of a Greek ambassador, whom Murdock dated and "fell in love" with while they were students at Columbia University, noted Marvel.com. After her father was killed in a traumatic event, she left the city. Later on, their paths will cross again as two people who are highly skilled in combat.

Fans, who are familiar with Elektra, knew that she would be introduced sooner or later, especially when an Easter egg about her was featured in the "Nelson v. Murdock" episode, according to What Culture. 

"The Greek girl...whatever happened to her? She was smokin'," Nelson asked Murdock about his past date or ex-girlfriend.

Does this mean that there will be two love interests for Daredevil when the show airs in 2016?

Other challenges

Although the masked hero may have the chance at love next year, he will also be facing another skillful villain as photos of The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) in action also surfaced the web via Just Jared. Thus, it will not be blue skies ahead for Murdock, as expected.
