NHL All-Star Martin Havlat is ready to commit to Florida Panthers given a chance.

The seasoned hockey player buys a Boca Raton home in Florida worth $2.94 million, Los Angeles Times reported. It will be perfect for him if he makes the Panthers' official lineup as his newly acquired property is less than an hour away from the Florida team's BB&T Center.

The athlete's new residence features five bathrooms and four bedrooms, including a master suite that displays a his-and-hers closet, a huge tub and a spa-like shower.

The nearly 5,000-square-foot dwelling place reportedly boasts a kitchen equipped with a center island. The interiors of the abode also showcase darkwood-lined flooring and doors with customized finishes.

The two-time All-Star player will not have a problem entertaining guests as he can arrange a pool and barbecue party easily with the home's outdoor amenities. The yard comes with a swimming pool equipped with a spa and a grilling station for a fun-filled get-together. There is also an outdoor shower for everyone's convenience. Visitors will also enjoy relaxing in the covered patio as they chat in a cozy atmosphere courtesy of an outdoor wall fireplace.

14 Years of Playing in the NHL

The Czech hockey player was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in the first round, 26th overall, of the 1999 NHL Draft, per ESPN stats. Havlat played for the Senators for five seasons since 2000 and transferred to the Chicago Blackhawks to help the team for three years. He then moved to the Minnesota Wild and San Jose Sharks, and, just recently, had a one-year stint with the New Jersey Devils. Overall, Havlat played for 14 seasons in five teams since 2000 to 2015, skipping the 2004-2005 season.

The Panthers invited the 34-year-old player in the team's training camp, which started on Sept. 17 at their BB&T Center, announced Miami Herald. Panthers' general manager Dale Tallon is excited to have Havlat and former Panthers' scorer David Booth on their professional tryouts.

"They both wanted to come here and show their wares. They have history and knowledge. You never know about injuries, and we have a lot of young guys. If they're not ready, that's fine. We have protection. It's all good. Competition doesn't hurt anyone. Everyone has to work for a job. We're not just going to give them to the kids because they're kids," Tallon said.

Havlat reportedly delivered 241 goals and 593 points in his 788 games so far. The Mladá Boleslav-born hockey player also served 352 assists and is a six-time 20-goal scorer, Fox Sports noted.
