Justin Bieber Trial and Selena Gomez Relationship: Singer Storms Out of Deposition Hearing After Being Questioned About Ex-Girlfriend
Troubled pop star Justin Bieber reportedly stormed out of his deposition hearing in Miami after being questioned about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Bieber was called in for a formal hearing on Thursday regarding a lawsuit that claims he apparently ordered his bodyguards to confront a photographer who was consequently assaulted. Jeffrey Binion, who allegedly was choked and got his camera equipment stolen in June 2013, is suing the "Believe" singer. It has also been reported that the hitmaker ordered his bodyguards to seize Binion's memory card after he tried to take a picture of him leaving a recording studio. The victim claims he has suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medial expenses following the incident.
However, when a lawyer repeatedly interrogated the "Bad Day" singer by mentioning his previous relationship with Gomez, he just could not manage to restrain his anger. The lawyer asked Bieber if the "Come & Get It" singer was present during any incident involving fights with paparazzi.
Howard Weitzman, the 20-year-old singer's lawyer, objected, considering the question a deliberate attempt to provoke a response from the singer, but he persisted. "Don't ask me about her, do not ask me about her!" Bieber shouted as he and his representative were leaving the courtroom in protest.
The pair later returned to complete the four-and-a-half hour deposition, but the relations remained tense. "What is this, 60 Minutes?" Bieber allegedly said in a series of hostile reponses. "OK Katie Couric, what's your question again?"
