"The Nice Guys," Starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, has released its first official trailer.

When fans hear of a project with Crowe and Gosling, they might assume it is some sort of powerful drama. But action flick "The Nice Guys" contains so much dark comedy, releasing a regular trailer would not do it justice. Producers have officially released the first red-band trailer for the film, and it is not quite suitable for children.

According to Variety, the movie is primed to entertain comedy and action fans. It is filled not only with action, but also bloody sequences and a stylish glamorization of its 1970s setting. Plus, for those who are wondering, Crowe and Gosling appear to work very well together as leading men.

The trailer begins with Gosling opening the door to Crowe, who immediately smacks him across the face and takes him to the ground in a submissive position. He takes on a familiar tone with Gosling, as if he is a sympathetic hit man, and tells Gosling what to tell the doctors when they look at his arm after Crowe breaks it. But the real comedy of that scene comes when Gosling lets out a vulnerable, lasting scream.

Fast forward through the trailer and the pair somehow end up as partners on a case, investigating the disappearance of a woman who worked in the porn industry. After their initial run-in, they join forces, with Crowe acting as the muscle-clad enforcer and Gosling working the case as the gritty but harmless private detective.

The film also features a young girl as Gosling's daughter, who has an equally foul mouth as her father.
