The celebrated "Star Wars Battlefront" video doesn't have the depth sci-fi players are looking for, this is what Electronics Art CFO Blake Jorgensen said during the Nasdaq Investor Conference in Europe.

In his statement, reported by IGN, he admitted that "Star Wars Battlefront" was primarily designed for players who are new to the first-person shooter game. He also added that "Star Wars Battlefront" is only a teen-rated first-person shooter game.

"We had design it to be a much more accessible product to a wide age group," said Jorgensen. So for the hardcore gamers who know exactly what they want, Jorgensen admits that the game lacks depth.

Meanwhile, EA has some very special features to offer its fans despite the revelation. According to their official website, "Star Wars Battlefront" is set to receive some new content in the coming months. This is to make sure that gamers will get the ultimate experience playing the game.

EA also announced the launching of the Battle of Jakku in two weeks time. The Battle of Jakku will be released in the form of a free DLC and it will include two maps for the Walker Assault and Supremacy.

The content that EA has promised will include new maps and Star Cards and they will all be for free.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, "Star Wars Battlefront" has been criticized since its launching because of its lack in content. EA has already acknowledged the issue and is preparing new and more content for "Star Wars Battlefront."

The Battle of Jakku will be available starting Dec. 8, 2015 for all "Battlefront" players. However, take note that it has primarily been released to those who pre-ordered the game online.

The Season Pass of "Star Wars Battlefront" costs around $50 and is expected to give more content to the players. According to EA, "Star Wars Battlefront" has, by far, been the largest digital launch in the history of the company.

They also confirmed that the players will have the ability to prove everything on the game like how the "stormtroopers can actually aim," "Millennium Falcon does indeed have it where it counts" and how the "Force has really been in Luke."
