Discovered in South Beach as a teenager, Xen Sia started her career with Elite, a successful modeling agency with locations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Toronto. But commercial print in New York would only be the beginning of a flourishing career for the Greek-Canadian beauty. From Guess ads to magazine covers to sharing the big screen with highly respected actors, Xen's 11 years in the entertainment world have painted her destiny. Her down-to-earth personality and undeniable charisma make a perfect example of success well-earned. When you dream hard and work harder, you can reach unbelievable heights.

Yes Ms. Sia is stunning, but there is so much more to the woman who is taking Hollywood by storm. Born in Montreal, Canada to Greek parents, she was always more of the "stay at home and study" kind of gal. She originally planned to start a career in medicine before she was discovered. With four languages (Greek, Italian, French, and English) under her belt and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater, Xen is not just beauty; she is a whole lot of brains. And did I mention that she is not to be messed with? She is trained in scene combat with a focus on martial arts and is a very athletic girl, so watch out!

"After starting my career in modeling I fell in love with the acting world, I knew at that point that it was my calling," Xen says. She began taking acting classes at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting with top coaches like Joanna Beckson and Susan Batson at Black Nexxus. Coaches who have taught Hollywood A-listers like Nicole Kidman, Juliette Binoche, Tom Cruise, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock and Jamie Foxx, to name a few. As she grew artistically, she also had to grow stronger when a medical diagnosis and then an accident threatened her life and career.

"I was diagnosed with Grave's disease, 'an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones,' I thought that was it, for my career ... I underwent radiation and I lost my eyelashes and eyebrows," Sia explains, but she beat the disease and she came out of it as a realist and a fighter. In 2012, life struck again, when she tripped and fell walking down a New York City street. "Again I thought, will I ever be able to work again?" She admits the accident affected her psychologically but once again she picked herself up and found the strength to keep going.

You may also recognize Xen from Tiffany & Co., L'Oreal ads and Guess Jeans ads. "I was the girl on the Guess tags for a while, I remember going into the store and picking up the tags and saying 'hey that's my face'". She also shared the screen alongside Kevin Spacey in the 2010 film Casino Jack. She has also been part of a variety of other films like Interpersonal Exopolitics in 2011 and 2006's Push.

Her latest projects include Bumped, an independent film which she describes as "a modern day 'Breakfast Club.'" The film is a comedy-drama set at Chicago's O'Hare Airport where five 20-something year olds get bumped from the same flight and share some pretty interesting life stories with each other. Bumped is directed by Stephen Herek and was written by Lizzy Weiss, writer of Blue Crush, featuring Xen Sia alongside A-list actors (click on IMDB link above for deatailed names).
