New photos of HTC One X9 show up. Though the alleged smartphone was initially thought as a high-end model, based on the fresh images available, it seems that HTC One X9 falls under the mid-range category, Phone Arena's report noted.

The new pictures for the HTC One X9 circulating online originated from CNMO. Head over to their post to see the renders.

As for the specs, it is rumored that the HTC One X9 will sport a 5.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It might also get an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and paired with 2 GB RAM.

The default internal memory capacity is 16GB, but it can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The smartphone will allegedly run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

For the camera, HTC One X9 will allegedly get a 13MP lens sensor for the rear shooter. Meanwhile, the selfie cam will be equipped with 5MP sensor.

Official website of XDA Developers also noted that the HTC One X9, which recently showed up on TENAA listing, will feature a similar metallic body as the HTC One A9. From the looks of it, the One X9 sports a microUSB port and not a USB Type C.

HTC is reportedly releasing One X9 after the highly talked about One A9, which, according to EWeek, is the Taiwanese-based tech giant's latest flagship device. Announced recently, HTC One A9 is priced at $399.

EWeek noted that the One A9 is a huge step from the previous line of 'M' devices. The flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa-core chipset paired with 3GB of memory.

Native storage has a capacity of 32GB but a microSD slot is available, allowing for expansion of up to a whopping 2TB. Main camera has a 13MP lens sensor.
