It feels like we've been waiting for forever for the Samsung Galaxy S5, and now, the official release date of the phone is only two days away! And, early reviews of the phone say that the S5 is, without a doubt, the best!

First, let's head over to Digital Spy, who have been "sitting on" their S5 for a little while now (lucky ducks!). The site points out that there is some good on the phone -- a stunning screen, useful apps, and first class specs -- there's also some drawbacks to the phone: the fingerprint sensor is a little off, the design isn't exactly flawless, and there are some "confusing UI decisions."

"So should you buy a Samsung Galaxy S5? The chances are, if you are reading this, you've likely already made your mind up. Samsung will shift a ton of these and we feel they deserve to," says Hunter Skipworth. "That said, if you are split between the HTC One, Galaxy S5and Xperia Z2, then consider this. The HTC is a much nicer thing to hold, but it can't match the Samsung's screen or camera. Are you about form, or functionality? If it's the latter then the Samsung wins every time."

Over at the Financial Post, the reviews are even more positive: "the Galaxy S5 is simpler, more refined and more enjoyable to use than any Samsung device I've tested so far. Between the camera, that brilliant 5.1-inch display, and the smoother software, the Galaxy S5 is one of the best phones you can buy," they say, with the sole drawback of the phone being the "design," claiming that they don't like the plastic casing or the less-than-sleek design (a common sentiment amongst reviewers, which suggests that maybe Samsung should consider their earlier idea of making a phone with a metal case).
