Puerto Rican Rapper Jhayco Arrested in Miami on Drug Possession Charges

Puerto Rican rapper and singer Jhayco, best known for his chart-topping hit DÁKITI and for co-writing and collaborating extensively with Bad Bunny, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Miami on drug-related charges, according to jail records.

Authorities say Jhayco, whose real name is Jesús Manuel Nieves Cortés, was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at around 4:25 a.m. on August 12, 2025.
