There has been growing speculation on the Internet that "Fear The Walking Dead" is about to really open up the boundaries for Season 2 of the spinoff prequel show. There have also been theories Travis (Cliff Curtis) will in some way progress much in the same way Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) did on "The Walking Dead."

Curtis sat down for an interview with Comic Book Resources and spoke about his character, specifically with how the first six episodes of Season 1 have changed him.

Fans already know that Travis was the one in the group that was more naïve to the true nature of the world that was evolving around him. The chaos and mayhem, the murders -- they all seemed to take on a surreal presence in his mind and he had trouble reconciling with the fact that zombies are no longer human. He wanted to believe that they could be cured, much in the same way Herschel Green did in Season 2 of "The Walking Dead."

Travis seemed to be waking up to the reality of the situation near the end of the first season. So fans wonder if his transition will be compete at the start of Season 2.

"I'd like to see him be a little bit more of a bada** and see how he copes with that, if you know what I mean," Curtis said.

"Just to see him get a little more action, because he's crossed a line by the end of Season 1, and I just don't think he can maintain this idea that the zombies are human."

Therein lies the problem. The longer he waits to change, the more opportunities there will be for him to die. It's almost a known fact, if he does not realize and fight the zombies, they will eventually overcome him.

"He's probably shifted and changed in his worldview, and it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out," Curtis said. "I'm looking forward to that, really."
