It may be too early to speculate, but with Lenovo teasing the arrival of a new KillerNote, one couldn't help but think that this might be eventually the successor of the K3 Note.

According to GSM Arena, Lenovo took to Twitter the teaser for the new device saying, "Prepare for the dawn of the new KillerNote." Rumors say that it may eventually be called the K4 Note, but that remains to be seen. If indeed there's going to be a successor for the K3 Note, it will most probably launch first in India, given that it has been announced by Lenovo India.

Although there is no confirmed date on when it will be released, there are speculations that it may eventually come out in January 2016.

At one point, Lenovo India asked on their Twitter page how much RAM should be given on the K4. The question was in the form of a contest, wherein winners will receive some special items from Lenovo India. After announcing that they are done developing the device, they also confirmed that the K4 will have a 3GB RAM as fans voted for.

In another report by GSM Arena, the chosen 3GB of RAM is 1GB higher than its predecessor, the K3 Note. Rumors say that it may also double its internal storage, making it 32GB in the process. If that's the case, there might be some significant changes compared to its predecessor.

The K4 Note is also rumored to have a metal build and is equipped with a fingerprint sensor feature. At the moment, the said specs are currently speculations and Lenovo India has not released an official statement regarding the K4.

What's obviously coming is the new Note but with limited information about its specs. The predecessor of the K4, which is the K3 Note made its debut in March 2015, and, since then, there have been no follow up on the next flagship device until now.

The prices of the previous note have been very reasonable, but expect the next version to be a little bit higher in the market.
