Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez broke her silence, as she spoke about her experience in the 2015 Miss Universe pageant in December in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gutierrez was mistakenly crowned as the 2015 Miss Universe after pageant host Steve Harvey announced her as the winner instead of Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach.

Gutierrez was already enjoying her moment, as she was seen waving to the crowd and to fellow contestants, before Harvey returned to the stage and said that he needs to apologize. Harvey admitted that he made a mistake in reading the result of the pageant and announced Wurtzbach as the real winner.

The 22-year-old model said that the 2015 Miss Universe gaffe was a humiliating experience for her and her supporters, who were also celebrating her victory before Harvey admitted his mistake. She kept her poise when the crown was being taken away from her, but admitted she was very embarrassed.

"It was a very big injustice," Gutierrez told W Radio in Colombia. "It was humiliating for me and for all people in Latin America in the auditorium."

It took almost two weeks before Gutierrez went out to address the blunder. She said that she intentionally disconnected himself from the public because she needed time to move on.

"I have been disconnected, I haven't received any phone calls, just a few people have been able to contact me and it is because I needed to grieve for what happened that night," Gutierrez added. "It is been so hard for me. I had always dreamed about being Miss Universe."

Gutierrez admitted that the embarrassing experience is still bothering her but she is looking at the positive side of it. She revealed that she is receiving several offers over the past several days, including proposals to work in the United States.

"As we say in Colombia, we killed two birds with one stone: I got Miss Universe and now I am free to accept all the job proposals I want," the 2015 Miss Universe runner-up said.

Gutierrez also admitted that she received indecent offers from some companies. She turned down an offer to appear in a pornographic film and reiterated that she will not consider future offers similar to it regardless of the amount of many she can earn.

"The worst is the porno video," Gutierrez said. "I haven't received a formal offer but I would never do it for one million dollars. For an incalculable amount. No, I am joking. I will never do it. No, my parents would kill me."
