Samsung unveils its Windows 10-powered tablet. Called Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, the mobile device is set for a February 2016 release.

The latest premium tablet is powered by Microsoft Windows 10 and it combines the South Korean tech giant's world-class technology, according to Samsung's official press release. "By integrating the most popular features of laptops and tablets, users now have access to full notebook PC functionality in a lightweight tablet for the most productive mobile experience, even on-the-go," it noted.

The Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, a 2-in-1 tablet, offers the best of Samsung Galaxy Tab combining it with the myriad of functionalities from the Windows 10 OS. The tablet aims to provide "productivity and connections that matter most, through a seamless mobile station designed for all purposes."

The tablet can provide a full PC functionality because of Windows 10 and features such as Microsoft Office, Cortana, OneDrive and a new browser called Microsoft Edge.

As for the detailed specs, the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S measures 290.3 x 198.8 x 6.3 mm, according to Phone Arena. It is equipped with a 12.1-inch Super AMOLED display screen.

It has a 2160 x 1440 pixel resolution, which is lower than that of the competitors, Apple iPad Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro. The former features 2732 x 2048 pixels while the latter has a 2736 x 1824 resolution.

Moreover, Samsung Galaxy TabPro S is powered by 6th-gen dual-core Intel Core M processor with a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and paired with 4GB of RAM. Both the rear cam and the selfie shooter are equipped with 5MP lens sensor.

Meanwhile, the battery pack has a capacity of 5,200 mAh, which has fast-charging features. It will charge fully in two and a half hours and battery life can last up to 10 hours.

For even better productivity and easier usability, every unit of Samsung Galaxy TabPro S comes with a full-sized keyboard cover. "The keyboard's flexible hinge enables optimal, dual-angle viewing for the clearest display in any circumstance," the press release noted.

Samsung Galaxy TabPro S keyboard's is also equipped with the Pogo pin which eradicates the need to pair it or charge it separately. Providing full PC functionality, users can take advantage of the keyboard's touchpad for easier control even when the device is in Stand Mode.
