Selena Gomez is rumored to be considering performing a duet with ex-boyfriend DJ Zedd at this year's Coachella music festival.

Hollywood Life reports, though the 23-year-old Gomez isn't officially scheduled to take the stage at this year's event, speculation is building that she may join her ex in performing at least one tune.

"With Zedd and A$AP Rocky on this year's Coachella lineup, Selena is considering joining them on stage," a source said. "She feels that Zedd is the most likely option because they have done it already at Jingle Ball, and with her tour starting a few weeks later, it will be nice for her to get stage time."

The two pleasantly surprised fans just before Christmas by performing "I Want You To Know" at New York's Jingle Ball.

"That was so much fun," Gomez raved after the performance.

Word is her split from Zedd has been an amicable one, paving the way for the two to continue to interact cordially with one another. After their Jingle Ball performance, the two posed for pictures backstage and Gomez affectionately kissed her ex on the check.

The peaceful vibes may also be just what Gomez needs, as rumors continue to circulate of tension between her on-again, off-again ex Justin Bieber and rumored new beau Niall Horan.

Several media outlets have reported Bieber recently fired off several angry texts to Horan demanding answers about his onetime pal now taking up with his ex-girlfriend.

Word is Horan ignored all the texts after being advised to do so by Gomez. Still, it's rumored Gomez also recently informed Horan that she isn't ready for them to take things to the next level in their once seemingly budding relationship.

Perhaps clouding a potential long term future between them all the more are Bieber's recent public claims that he's convinced his ex-girlfriend still loves him and always will.
