WrestleMania 32 plans were scrapped last week when John Cena underwent successful shoulder injury to repair a torn rotator cuff. He was supposed to face The Undertaker in a match known as "The Battle of Legends," but with Cena out for six to nine months, it left "The Deadman" without an opponent, per The Wrestling Observer Newsletter via Wrestling Inc.

The report added that the plans for WrestleMania 32 are starting to shape up with Roman Reigns vs. Triple H currently pencilled in as the main event. However, there are still no plans for The Undertaker's match as the WWE had no backup plan for Cena.

The company did not expect the injury to the 15-time WWE champion and are searching their depleted roster for a viable opponent for the WrestleMania legend. Cena follows a long list of injured WWE superstars like Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, and Randy Orton.

For those who are hopeful the Cena will use his super healing powers to save WrestleMania, it's not going to happen. He confirmed it on Twitter saying that his recovery may take a bit of time.

Inquisitr noted that The Undertaker's opponent for WrestleMania 32 should be considered by fans as a real threat to win and can deliver a good match on the biggest event of 2016 and possibly in WWE history. It will be pretty difficult to find the right superstar especially at the moment with the injuries and the failure of the WWE to create new main event level talents.

In a report by What Culture, a lot of possible replacements for The Undertaker's opponent at WrestleMania 32 were suggested including Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns and The Rock. Strowman looks like a legitimate threat to defeat the 51-year-old legend, but he is still raw and will surely create a boring match.

The outlet said that Owens is the choice for many members of the Internet Wrestling Community and will be able to carry a match. However, Vince McMahon and other management members are not high on him at the moment and probably won't have him headline such a big match.

The current WWE champion is also a real threat to give The Undertaker his second defeat at a WrestleMania, but he is in a feud with The Authority that's not close to finishing. As for The Rock, he is no expected to wrestle due to an insurance issue for a movie he will be filming after WrestleMania.

Brock Lesnar can also be considered as an opponent for The Undertaker, but the feud already finished at Hell in a Cell last year.
