J Balvin, reggaeton's biggest act of the moment, brought out Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber at Calibash 2016 for a performance of Bieber's hit song "Sorry" On Jan. 24.

The Colombian star, featured on the Latin remix of the song, surprised fans by having Bieber join him on stage. Bieber wasn't announced as a special guest prior to the concert.

A clip from the performance was shared on the Staples Center Twitter account, which documented the various performances by Latin music stars and a few mainstream hip-hop artists at Calibash.

On his own Instagram account, Balvin shared the exact moment Bieber walked out onstage to a screaming crowd, along with a few other videos of their performance.

"Big moments for the history of Latin music. Thank God," Balvin captioned the video.

Bieber showed support for Balvin on Twitter and shared a video on his Instagram account from the performance. In his Twitter post, Bieber also revealed fans can expect more from the two artists beyond their collaboration on the "Sorry" remix. "Had to support my bro @JBALVIN tonight at Staples. We got more coming," the pop singer said.

In his tweet, Bieber may have been a referencing a tweet that Balvin had posted earlier. The reggaeton star revealed that he was working in the studio with Bieber, as well as rappers Kanye West, Big Sean and Chance The Rapper.

Interestingly, Balvin recently beat Bieber to claim the most popular song on the European music charts with his hit single "Ginza."
