Two WWE superstars are rumored to be leaving the company as early as summer. One of them is Wade Barrett as reported by Pro Wrestling Sheet while Brie Bella has confirmed in an interview with "Good Morning America" that she will be announcing her retirement in a later date to start a family.

Wade Barrett Leaving WWE in June

According to sources of Pro Wrestling Sheet, former Intercontinental champion and reigning "King of the Ring" Wade Barrett won't be re-signing with the WWE once his contract expires in June. The report notes that Barrett has already informed WWE officials about his decision. His main reason for leaving the company is that he no longer enjoys his role in the WWE.

In a report by What Culture, Barrett signed with the WWE back in 2006 where he was in developmental for four years at Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling. He was called up to the main roster in 2010 as part of the inaugural season of NXT where he won.

Barrett received a main event push as he formed the "Nexus" and feuded with the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton. However, "Nexus" was booked to lose, resulting to a new group called the "Corre." It also went nowhere, leading Barrett to have a variety of personas including his original bare knuckle fighter gimmick back in NXT, the "Barrett Barrage" character in his feud against Orton, Bad News Barrett and most recently, King Barrett.

Despite all of that, Barrett is a five-time Intercontinental and winner of the 2015 "King of the Ring." He is only 35 years old and could wrestle in other promotions in Japan and Europe. Barrett can also venture into acting as he played a role in the film "Dead Man Down" alongside Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace back in 2013, as reported by WWE.com.

Brie Bella Confirms Her Retirement

"Total Divas" star Brie Bella will join her husband Daniel Bryan in retirement as the former Divas champion revealed in an interview with "Good Morning America." Bella said that she will announce her official retirement "sometime in the summer" and start a family with Bryan.

"Feeling and seeing everything he went through with his retirement, I just feel that it's time for me to hang up the boots. It's gonna be hard on me as well, but that day is definitely very close," Bella told GMA as quoted by Uproxx.

Bella is scheduled to challenge Charlotte at WWE Fastlane this coming Sunday for the WWE Divas title. Brie is a one-time Divas champion, winning in 2011 and holding the belt for 70 days, per WWE.com.
