A video shared on social media shows the shocking moment a teen girl was attacked by other teenage girls in what is believed to be a gang initiation.

Posted on El Organismo's Facebook account on May 31, the video shows a girl, dressed in her school uniform, laying on the ground.

The teen is then beaten by several other teenage girls in uniform, who punch her and kick her. One girl in particular, dressed in jean shorts and and a cropped shirt, lands the most punches and even drags the girl by her hair.

The attack happened in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and is believed to have been a gang initiation by members of Barrio 18, one of the largest youth gangs.

Barely moving, the victim of the attack does not attempt to defend herself and is left motionless on the ground.
