With the Met Gala having taken place this week, it's hard to get excited about red carpet style. But we promise, there were so many cute looks out there this week. And there's only one (more) mention of the Met Gala. Here are the eight best dressed celebrities of the week (and no, this isn't our pick for Rihanna):

We'll get the Met Gala out of the way immediately. There were many well dressed women at the Met Gala, but Emma Stone's Thakoon outfit was just gorgeous. It was youthful and fun. Though it didn't fit the theme very well, it was eye-catching and as fun a look as you would expect from the Met Ball.

Elle Fanning is sticking to a theme, and we loved it! The teen is promoting her new film "Maleficent," and she's really playing the part of Princess Aurora on the red carpet in this Georges Hobeika Couture dress. And the attention to detail is impeccable. Even though the back of her head is not pictured here, the ribbon she is wearing has delicate edges. We imagine this is how a Disney princess would dress in real life.

Well, this is a surprise. When we think of Rihanna, our first thought is certainly not sweet. The usually provocative singer wore a light pink dress to attend the Christian Dior Cruise 2015 show that took place at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Though the outfit is tamer than her usual ware, Rihanna made sure to keep her personality in it by wearing lots of jewelry and wearing her hair in a full half pony.

Kristen Bell wore Jennifer Lopez favorite Zuhair Murad. The black gown has a few accents that keep it from being standard, but really this look is all about being refined and looking sexy.

Tina Fey's style transformation has been one to watch. She used to struggle on the red carpet, but now she handles it like a pro. The dress has just enough shimmer, but it doesn't distract at the event she was attending, the LLS: Jokes on You, Cancer!

Sometimes simple really is best. Zoe Saldana wore this red Max Mara dress at the Whitney Museum Party in NYC. She wore single sole heels that helped keep everything light.

Blake Lively wore all the best coats this week. At the Macy's Herald Square celebration of Gucci's "Chime for Change" campaign, she wore this blue suede look. It's just a polished and well put together look. She also wore a truly amazing butterfly coat this week.

Honorable Mention: Julia Roberts. This outfit doesn't totally work, but that shirt does! Julia Roberts is wearing the much-buzzed about Darth Vader shirt by Preen. And sometimes that's enough to be considered one of the best dressed.
