Following up with the book-adaptation film starting from "Harry Potter", with "Hunger Games" and even the "Fifty Shades" series, next in line is "The Dark Tower" with Idris Elba as the protagonist. Now, since many anticipates that Stephen King's work shall be viewed in the big screen, a poster has been released to excite the fans of the novel.

According to Ecumenical News, the tweet from Jordan Maison, the editor-in-chief of Cinelinx, showed us the newest poster from the film involving the Man in Black and the Gunslinger. The photo reveals that the two are having a staring contest or confrontation wherein Matthew McConaughey is taking it with Idris Elba. Due to this image that surfaced, many are now expecting that a trailer will follow.

This is the second item to be released after in October, wherein a video leaked and was supposedly the trailer for the movie. However, such video was removed and deleted as requested by the Sony.

Further, Den of Geek reveals that "The Dark Tower" film has been delayed from its original date of February 17, 2017 to July 28, 2017. Some reasons for this is the improvement of the visuals or a time to promote the film further since it will be battling some big films this year. With a budget of $60 million, far from other films that uses big visual effects, Sony might not be in need to rush the film for it not to cost more.

"The Dark Tower" film is the studio's attempt for a franchise to build on and additionally, there is a tv series to be produced which is why Sony might be taking things slowly but right.
