Chart-topping, Grammy-nominated superstar Romeo Santos held a sold out concert Thursday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. It wasn't the concert that was out of the ordinary though.

Vin Diesel got on stage with Santos to announce the Bachata star will be in "Fast & Furious 7." Ultra popular on social media with two million Twitter followers and 19 million Facebook fans, Santos being announced as an inclusion in the movie pleased many of his fans throughout the world.

On his Instagram page, Santos shared this update:

"S/O to @vindiesel for coming out last night and letting the world know that Romeo Santos will be in Fast and Furious 7. #romeosantos"

Fans of Santos couldn't be more excited:

The movie took a hiatus after Walker's death, but it will continue production and is set for an April 2015 release.

To replace Walker, his brothers will serve as body doubles in parts of the movie and creative camerawork will do the rest.

Santos is best known for his music. His most recent studio album "Formula, Vol. 2" was released earlier this year and it features collaborations with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, Carlos Santana, Tego Calderon and Kevin Hart.
