After Tesla having a disappointing profit by a wide margin, the company still have the reason for being optimistic, which took a turn to announced of planning to build Gigafactories for a couple of years. The company revealed its shareholder letter for the fourth quarter of 2016, that Tesla wanted to finalize the areas for three more Gigafactories later this year.

According to The Verge, the company currently has two gigafactories, the enormous one in Nevada that is maybe the best example of the literal size of Elon Musk's desire. The factory will the biggest building on the planet that eventually will produce enough batteries to supply 150-gigawatt hours of batteries per year.

Musk have 13 million square foot facility that would split production between Tesla Energy storage items, and battery packs for Tesla Vehicles.  Musk will have the space for its expanding output.

TNW reported that the company representatives said that they were finalizing the two extra areas for Gigafactories, possibly three to join the Gigafactory 1 and solar based plant in Buffalo. There is nothing firm yet on the area for the next plant, but Musk said that it could be some place in Europe that the company will settle in the area this year.

In December, Tesla got 49 percent more of global ret orders for vehicles that produce 24,882 vehicles and delivers 22,252. It anticipates delivering 47,000 to 50,000 of Model S and Model X vehicles in the first half of 2017, it rose up to 61 percent to 71 percent compared in 2016.

Tesla is scaling back its client's acquisition of spending for its solar based panel business through a reduction in publicizing and an initiative offer to sell solar to Tesla's current stores, as well as a move for renting to selling solar panel systems. Musk believes that with a high level of conviction Tesla energy products will produce a comparative revenue.
