Maddox Jolie-Pitt has just recently attended the premiere of "First They Killed My Father," a film that he co-produced with Hollywood superstar mom Angelina Jolie. This is actually Maddox's first job, very uncommon for kids his age who would simply settle for a post in a fast food chain or a clothing outlet. The movie, which was shot entirely in Cambodia, was the film adaptation of the life of Loung Ung during the Khmer Rouge. Maddox worked closely with his mother and was every eager to get the movie produced.

Angelina Jolie said that Maddox was the one who called the shots and said that hew was ready to produce the movie, Metro reported. The 15-year old read the script, helped with note-taking and was present in all production meetings. And aside from Maddox, his other five siblings seemed to help as well. Angie and her kids have been coming back to Cambodia and this allowed her children to develop close ties with local kids.

Maddox is the child that Angelina Jolie adopted before he even met Brad Pitt. Angelina got Maddox when he was just 7 months and while she was still married to Billy Bob Thornton; her name was the only one on the adoption papers. Maddox was from a village in Rath Bibol but was placed in an orphanage in Cambodia. In an interview, Angelina explained that Maddox was the one that united the two of them (Angelina and Brad) as a family, E! News reported. The child took his time until the day that he made his decision and called Brad Pitt dad.

Maddox eventually became the oldest among six children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The couple is now battling for custody of their six children with Angelina asking for full physical and legal custody while Brad Pitt is asking for joint custody. Brad is allowed therapeutic visits along with a therapist and very recently he has spent overnights with his children.

Angelina Jolie was with Maddox and his siblings in Cambodia for "First They Killed My Father." The actress said that her divorce is a difficult time for her family and he wishes that they would come out stronger despite the ordeal.
