"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is right around the corner (nearly a week away), and with it comes the official return of Loyalty missions. Fans and players won't be able to play them for a little bit while, but the game's developer, BioWare, did show off and presented part one of the upcoming loyalty missions during its PAX East panel.

According to PC Gamer, the gameplay demo showcases, as well as officially introducing, squadmate Liam Kosta's Loyalty mission. These types of missions were not present in the older Mass Effect 3, but they were a critical part of the second game's success.

The said missions helped fill out each and every character's backstory, and let players become intimately familiar and involved with each one of them. These missions are also one of the major reasons why so many people have become passionate and obsessed with specific squadmates.

It has even included some people at PC Gamer, to the point where they have even ranked the best Mass Effect companions, from worst to best. From that standpoint, there is really no doubt that these loyalty missions meant a lot of a majority of Mass Effect Players, and they will continue on in "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

According to Face Punch, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" officially releases for the PC on March 21, 2017. Origin Access subscribers will get the chance to play the game a little bit early in a 10-hour trial that would include the multiplayer mode, and a set number of missions from the single-player campaign, starting on March 16.

Unlike many AAA games that were released in this day and age, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" won't be featuring a season pass, and all multiplayer maps are going to be available for free. Fans and players can check out the system requirements needed for the game, along with every other else that is needed to be known about "Mass Effect: Andromeda," on its official website
