It will also include a cross-platform experience that will put together the over 28 million social media followers of Tyra Banks. Well-known web bigwigs, celebrities, experts and ordinary people will all be featured on the show that will be aired from Los Angeles.

The talk show will have Banks as an executive producer with Summerdale Productions of Disney-ABC as a producer. Disney-ABC Domestic Television is in charge of distribution. It has been four years since Banks had a talk show, so she was very excited over the news, posting on her Instagram.

"TyTy + Disney/ABC = New Talk Show in 2015. Get ready! We are shaking up daytime for real! Tyra."

Janice Marinelli, president of Disney-ABC Domestic TV, said that they gave Banks a TV morning show because of her extensive energy and huge talent and appeal. She added that the new show will be a channel for Banks to impart her knowledge on self-confidence.

Lisa Hackner, Disney's exectutive vice president, commented on the uniqueness of Banks, a uniqueness that is relevant to all women and serves as an inspiration to them. Hackner also said that Banks is even more important because of her multitude of fans and tremendous number of followers on social media. Tyra is followed by 11.3 million people on Twitter and 2.3 million people on Instagram.

Banks, on the other hand, said that it is her fervent desire to motivate women and push them to search for new directions that will bring them success and improve their personality and confidence.
