Netflix's Cobra Kai creator Hayden Schlossberg teased new information on the fourth installment of the series after he was upset about the event held by the streaming behemoth, which was a virtual fan-facing event with the fans. Netflix noted that their virtual fan-facing event would include new trailers, exclusive news, and even celebrity appearances from shows such as Cobra Kai, The Umbrella Academy, The Witcher, and Fear Street trilogy.

Each Geeked Week day was themed by the streaming behemoth according to genres including film, fantasy, anime/animation and gaming, and comic books.

Netflix Cobra Kai Creator Upset Over Netflix's Geeked Week

Cobra Kai creator's comment on the said event stemmed out when fans expressed their frustration with Netflix, when the cast of the "Karate Kid" franchise appeared on June 11 while playing "Street Fighter" with the event's host, according to a Heavy report. Cobra Kai cast members Xolo Maridueña, Gianni DeCenzo, and Jacob Bertrand appeared at the fan-facing event Netflix organized.

"When you watch Geeked Week stream for two hours and there's no footage," said a Reddit commenter mentioned by Heavy, who was upset about what happened. Another Reddit user mentioned by the outlet said that the streaming behemoth "shouldn't have hyped so much" about the streaming.

In response to the fans that were upset because of what happened at the virtual fan-facing event, Cobra Kai creator Hayden Schlossberg took to Twitter to address the issue.

"I did not know what geeked week was until today," said Schlossberg on his Twitter account, adding that information on the fourth installment of their series will only be released on their official social media accounts.

"You will probably get early hints from the CK [Cobra Kai] social media handles or from us [creators] like we did with Terry Silver teaser," said Schlossberg. The Cobra Kai creator also promised more "goodies" or information about the fourth installment of Cobra Kai on Netflix.

Schlossberg also pointed out that the "goodies" will come out "between Honeycrisp season." However, the creator did not specify the meaning of "Honeycrisp season."

Netflix Cobra Kai Season 4: What We Know So Far

With the ending of Cobra Kai's third installment, fans are looking forward to more information regarding the fourth season of the "Karate Kid" franchise. However, the only major news about the series is the entry of an antagonist on the Season 4 of the series, as the streaming behemoth and the creators dropped a teaser trailer featuring Terry Silver.

Apart from the confirmation of the teaser trailer, the ending of Cobra Kai's Season 3 through flashbacks revealing John Kreese saving Silver's life while they were in prison during the Vietnam war.

Although the production of Netflix Cobra Kai season four was already finished, the air date of the series is yet to be announced. Meanwhile, other information on the "Karate Kid" franchise's fourth installment will be announced soon by the series' official social media account, according to creator Hayden Schlossberg.
