About Brian Covey

Brian is a former soccer player. He is also a Member of the Forbes Real Estate Council and is about to launch his book in Feb 2021. He is the host of The Brian Covey Show Podcast in which he has shared many incredible stories through interviewing some of the 2020's biggest thought leaders. He was the former US Olympic Team Member with the U17 and U23 teams as well. Brian is married and has three kid. Brian loves to coach soccer, spend time with his family and travel to his favourite vacation spot that is Rosemary Beach in Florida. His competitiveness from business translates straight to the field. He throws the suit down and coaches his daughter's league with joy several times a week. Fitness and failure became masteries for Brian very early as his career was affected by the 2007 market crash just years after his Olympic team days came to an end, right when he was raising toddlers.

Brian - a tough Businessman

Brian learned at an early age the power of mental toughness, visualization & how to leverage our energy to accelerate versus stopping. Brian has mastered the art of failure, the art of winning, and the art of staying fit. From being passed over for promotions, he has learned how to take lessons from his failures and successes. This led him to connect with his first business mentor. Brian had friends and parents in the finance field and he was interested in marketing and finance. Working with people was a must and he had friends buying their 1st home, so he observed an immense need for finance and figured out the business he wanted to do and thus became the vice president of a mortgage company, loanDepot. Brian always had leadership skills and business mindset. He was always passionate about personal growth and building championship teams. His current team has experienced tremendous growth from $200M to over $3B in annual funding in less than 4 years. The correlations from sports to business are everywhere in how he leads his life.

Brian's mission to inspire people

It's Brian's mission with his new book, "Conversations with Covey", to highlight some of the most incredible stories he has shared on his podcast, the Brian Covey Show. Its Brian's intentions with Conversations with Covey that he can deliver a "conference in a book", with so many limitations in 2020, he hopes these stories will add inspiration, eliminate success fatigue and inspire many to go after their dreams. With so many walks of life, industries, races, and various upbringings represented in Conversations with Covey, each reader can likely see themselves in one of these profound messages.
