Queen Elizabeth II opened up about how she felt after testing positive for COVID-19.

The British royal shared her experience getting the disease during a virtual visit last week to the Royal London Hospital, claiming that she felt really tired after encountering the disease, New York Post reported.

The Queen made her comments while speaking to a former COVID-19 patient, Asef Hussain, who also detailed his experience. Hussain told Queen Elizabeth II that he stuck his head out of the window just to breathe and get extra oxygen.

"I'm glad that you're getting better, and It does leave one very tired and exhausted, doesn't it? This horrible pandemic. It's not a nice result," Queen Elizabeth II said to Hussain in reply.

The Queen then pointed out that having COVID is a "very frightening experience."

The Queen had a royal visit to the hospital due to the opening of the Queen Elizabeth Unit.

Queen Elizabeth II's COVID

Queen Elizabeth II has diagnosed with COVID-19 in February after she received three jabs of the COVID vaccine. A Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed the Queen's diagnosis.

During that time, Queen Elizabeth II experienced mild cold-like symptoms. Despite that, the Queen still performed light duties in Windsor castle while receiving medication.

The Queen also granted Prime Minister Boris Johnson her weekly audience while battling the disease. However, the two British officials talked over the phone.

During that time, Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla both tested positive for the disease. Several people from the Windsor Castle team were also diagnosed with COVID-19.

In the light of contracting COVID, a death hoax report from Hollywood Unlocked about Queen Elizabeth went viral. The said report claimed that their sources were from the "royal kingdom."

Buckingham Palace did not comment on the rumor, saying that it would not entertain commenting on such a story.

Their royal wedding was also included in the slideshow, as well as the arrival of their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

The poem the Queen posted on her social media account was entitled "The Patriarchs: An Elegy."

Last week, a larger memorial service was held at the Westminster Abbey that allowed the representatives of every charity Prince Phillip worked with to pay tribute to him.
