Coach Sean McDermott said at the season that he thought it was "a pretty cool moment." He added that the game was not trending the way they wanted it to.

McDermott said that he was "super happy" for Hamlin and thankful that the Bills safety's health is returning.

Damar Hamlin returned to a Bills game after he was hospitalized. He was with his family and was also invited with his teammates to the locker room.

Hamlin's reported presence at the Bills' game triggered wild conspiracies on the internet, alleging that used a body double in his place.

Hamlin was filmed to have arrived at the stadium before the match but his face was covered in the video.

His teammates and coach have confirmed that he came into the Bills' dressing room shortly.
