Failed Arizona gubernatorial candidate and current US senatorial candidate Kari Lake has lost again, this time in the Arizona State Supreme Court over a lawsuit against her regarding the MAGA Republican's claims that the elections were stolen in the state.

Lake requested the Arizona Supreme Court to toss out a defamation lawsuit filed against her by Stephen Richer, a Republican Maricopa County election official whom she targeted with her false claims that the election was stolen during the Arizona Gubernatorial race in 2022.

Richer is suing her in a personal capacity after Lake repeatedly told her followers on social media that she was a victim of election "sabotage" and has repeatedly claimed that her fellow Republican's lawsuit against her was an "attempt to silence" her.

Much like her ally, Donald Trump, Lake could be running for office while being on trial at the same time, with 2024 possibly becoming a contentious year for her as she currently trails her Democratic opponent, Ruben Gallego, in the polls.

MSNBC noted that Lake has toned down her extremist rhetoric as of late as she tries to win over Arizona's more moderate Republicans, also known as the McCain Republicans, who turned on her and supported Democrat Katie Hobbs for Governor after she told them to get out of the party.

However, her attempts to soften her tone, from trying to reconcile with late Senator John McCain's family to backpedaling on some of her earlier rhetoric, has gotten some intense criticism, mockery, and rebuke not just from Democrats but also fellow Republicans.

Kari Lake Gloated After Nikki Haley Drops Out of Presidential Race While Also Trying to Win Over Her Supporters

Kari Lake continued her divisive strategy, as she is also trying to win over the supporters of Nikki Haley, who recently dropped out of the presidential race after only winning Vermont during Super Tuesday. However, this endeavor might not be easy as she also recently mocked the former South Carolina governor for losing the race against Donald Trump.

"I am actively trying to court all Republicans, whether they are, you know, MAGA Republicans, somewhere in the middle, or traditional Republicans," she told CNN. "I want everybody's vote."

However, in that same interview, Lake, known for dividing her state's Republican Party over her rhetoric, blasted Haley, saying, "She's stayed in all this time and hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent on really what has been a vanity project, and hearing today that she was going to suspend her campaign-and still not endorse President Trump-that's not unifying."

Nikki Haley Shoots Back at Kari Lake by Channeling Meghan McCain

After Lake gloated over Nikki Haley's loss while also trying to win over her supporters, the former US Ambassador to the UN shot back by repeating Meghan McCain's answer to Lake's attempt at reconciliation with her faction of the Arizona Republican Party.

"No peace, b****!" wrote Haley communications chief Nachama Soloveichik as she replied to a tweet by Lake on trying to unify Republicans and getting Haley voters and McCain Republicans to support her too.
