Don't worry if you still have not made up your mind about what to do to celebrate Independence Day this year because there's plenty to do all around San Francisco.

Each year, Pier 39 hosts a Fourth of July celebration, featuring live music and family-friendly activities from noon to 11 p.m. This year "Mobility," a group from the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, will perform on the Entrance Plaza Stage from noon to 3 p.m. Tainted Love will also hit the Entrance Plaza Stage from 5-8 p.m., and later, at 9:30pm, the skies will be lit as the City of San Francisco presents a spectacular fireworks display over the San Francisco Bay. Every year, San Francisco holds a large fireworks display over the bay. Starting around 9:30 p.m., there will be two sets of fireworks will be synced to give spectators a good glimpse from all around the area. One set is near the Marina Green, while the other one is closer to Fishermans Wharf.

If you're in the mood for a holiday cruise, then check out the Fourth of July Two-Hour Beer Lunch Cruise, where you can enjoy relaxing live music while sipping beer and champagne. The cruise ship takes you all around the bay and offers a variety of dishes from a traditional BBQ buffet, including BBQ baby back ribs, sirloin skewers and Southern fried chicken.

If you plan to be in East Bay, then head over to the Alameda County Fair in Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton to catch a fireworks show at 9:45 p.m. The fair will be open all weekend. For details, go to alamedacountyfair.com

Another great attraction for family fun is the Benicia Picnic in the Park & Fireworks. The festivities include arts and crafts, food, entertainment and other children's activities in City Park, followed by fireworks on the waterfront. If you're looking for live music, family fun, circus arts, food and drinks, then head to El Cerrito WorldOne Fourth of July Festival, which will be going on all day. Here's their website: el-cerrito.org

You also have the option of spending the Fourth of July at Berkeley Marina, where you will be entertained with live music, arts and crafts, pony rides for children, food and fireworks. If you live or plan to be near the North Bay, then check out the Angel Island Independence Day Fireworks. This attraction includes fireworks, food and live music by the David Thom Band. If you're looking for a good bowl of chili, then celebrate July Fourth with family and friends at the 33rd Annual Summer Festival and Chili Cook Off in the City of Palo Alto, from noon to 5 p.m. Competing for the Best Chili Award are teams recruited from restaurants, group affiliations and police and fire departments. The activities start at noon, but chili tasting opens to the public at 1:30 p.m. The event will also include live music, an ice cream taste-off and activities for children.
