The chemistry between Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli was undeniable on "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," and it turns out it wasn't just created by multiple takes.

Several news outlets have written about Boyer and Rulli's new show, and they have lauded the duo for their on-stage chemistry.

"Both actors show their talent on the stage production of 'Los Derechos de la Mujer,' where in addition to their sensuality, they show off their spectacular physiques," notes TV Notas. "While he is shirtless, she walks across the stage in lingerie, and well, they look spectacular!"

The story revolves around a couple who has married out of convenience. Juan, played by Rulli, and Boyer's character, successful lawyer María José, who is mistakenly called José María, start a war of the sexes, notes Vanguardia.

While María José has ambition and goals for her career, Juan wants her to stay at home and be his wife. There are plenty of shenanigans going on. For example, Juan acts as though he were gay.

In one scene, Boyer strips down to lingerie, while Rulli's character reads. She then climbs into bed with him and says she has a lot of studying to do and starts reading from a law book.

For the actors, the show is very different than "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó," which had an overall more serious tone. The play has been a chance for them to show off their comedic skills.

"The couple made up by Rulli and Boyer showed that not only do they know how to make television audiences suffer with their successful show 'Lo Que La Vida Me Robó,' they also know how to entertain," according to El Mañana. "Indeed, they achieve this, as attendees laughed out loud."

Vanguardia said the audience in Saltillo enjoyed these jokes, but they were especially happy about the ending.

"The final scene, which was one worth waiting for, is an understanding between both parties," Vanguardia writes. "María José tells her husband that she loves him. While he realizes that he is also in love with her. Both come to an agreement, which goes beyond the law and enforced by them as a couple. The kiss made the audience applaud the love story between these two people."
