It's been a long, drawn-out battle between Cecilia Galliano and Sebastián Rulli over who had the rights to a car, but a decision has finally been reached.

Both said that they were the rightful owner of a car. Galliano had given Rulli a car while they were married, and he said that she signed over the rights to him. Galliano, on the other hand, said her signature was forged.

Galliano has emerged victorious, and she has released a statement explaining her side of the story.

"More than a year ago, the father of my son sued me for a truck that was mine," she said. "This legal process has been one of my biggest challenges in life. Among other things, it was the first time I had to go to a judge and I had to learn many legal terms that seemed to be a foreign language at first."

The lawsuit taught her to be patient, she said.

She knew that quitting would mean backing down on something she felt she was right about.

She said that her victory confirmed that Mexican laws could be trusted.

"They showed that Mr. Sebastián Rulli could never prove to be the owner of the truck and that he needs to return it to the rightful owner," she said. "Thank you to all the people who supported and believed in me."

Rulli had previously stated that the truck had been sold several times after he owned it. Instead, he will have to pay her for the value of the vehicle.

The case was also complicated because of handwriting experts. Each had hired a person that said the other side was lying. And the case appeared to be favoring Rulli at the beginning.

The Argentine actor hasn't said anything about the case on his social media pages.
