Entertainment news is abuzz with anticipation for the sequel to the movie "Sin City" which opens this Friday.

"Sin City: A Dame to Kill for" is being touted as an uber sexy film noir that relied so heavily on green-screen that even cars were cardboard in the film, according to New York Daily News.

A recent trailer shows Lady Gaga, in what is an exciting change for fans who know the singer as an outrageously dressed pop star, according to KdramaStars.

And bombshell Eva Green is set to wow audiences everywhere, the Daily News reported.

"Of course, as an actor you feel so silly being naked and you want to die, you just kind of become numb and you just do the scene," Green, 34, told the Daily News. "And you know (director Robert Rodriguez) just has such taste and style that you are in good hands.

"I really think [being nude in the film is] not gratuitous, especially for my character who uses her body as a weapon. She uses men and her sexuality as part of it."

Since the box office hit in 2005 by Frank Miller, a sequel has been anticipated, but now almost a decade later, audiences will finally get to revisit Basin City.

The female characters dominate this sequel.

"There's a lot of estrogen in this one," Jessica Alba told the Daily News, about her role as Nancy. "There's very powerful women in this movie, and I think it's so great because the misconception is that there can only be strong guys in this genre. Being able to play a character that starts off being this kind of victim who's an innocent naive girl ... and then to see her take her destiny into her own hands and avenge him and become this warrior was so cool."
