Angel Di Maria will reportedly move to Old Trafford soon after Real Madrid and Manchester United agree to a possible transfer this week.

Reports indicated that Manchester United agreed to acquire Di Maria for a transfer fee of £60 million ($99,246,000 USD), but the Daily Mail reported that the final fee is not yet set in stone.

Sources said that La Liga's Real Madrid, who recently had a failed transfer negotiation deal with Paris Saint-Germain FC of France's Ligue 1 for Di Maria, are now asking for £75 million ($124,057,500 USD), knowing that English Premier League (EPL) team Manchester United are pressed to make a big signing this season.

The final transfer fee is still unknown at this point, but Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti already confirmed that Di Maria is on his way out of Camp Nou, saying that Argentina international already bid goodbye to his teammates.

"It is not fully done, but he is close to a transfer," Ancelotti said via ESPNFC. "He came to say goodbye. We thanked him for what he has done for this team and we wished him luck for the future. It is not official, but it is resolved."

Ancelotti insisted that he wanted to keep Di Maria at Camp Nou, but the 26-year-old, who scored 12 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid last season, wanted a change of scenery.

"I have a very good relationship with him," Ancelotti said of Di Maria. "It was his own decision, the club did everything possible, offering him all that he could get here. He has decided something else, so we wish him much luck."

Real Madrid teammate Xavi Alonso also confirmed the potential move, via Twitter, wishing Di Maria best of luck with his new team.

"I wish you the best even if it's with Man U :-)," joked Alonso on his official Twitter account.

On the other hand, Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal declined to comment on the reported transfer agreement with Real Madrid, saying that he can't confirm anything at this point.

"I think always the club has to announce it and when we are thinking it's the right time for a transfer then we come to you and say, 'OK, we have bought that player or the other player,' but at this time we cannot say anything," Van Gaal said following their 1-1 draw against Sunderland on Sunday, with the club off to one of the worst starts in team history.
